03/23/2010   Platt Sponsoring FIRST Robotics Competitions this March

Platt Electrical Supply, a WECA-IEC Industry Partner and longtime supporter of our training programs, is sponsorsing teams at the upcoming FIRST Robotics competitions in Davis on March 31st - April 1st. The FIRST Robotics Competition is an exciting, multinational competition that teams professionals and young people to solve an engineering design problem in an intense and competitive way. Admission is free and families are encouraged to attend!

The robotics competitions are presented by the not-for-profit FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) organization, which was founded in 1989 to inspire young people's interest and participation in science and technology.
