LOGO USE AND WEB SITE LINKS

• The Western Electrical Contractors Association Inc. (WECA) logo functions as a positive symbol of the merit shop electrical contracting industry. Proper use of this logo creates a clear and consistent image to the public.
• The purpose of this Policy is to ensure that, whether produced by WECA or by other organizations, printed and digital materials bearing the WECA logo maintain a consistency in style and design. It includes specifications and design standards for materials that include the WECA logo.
• Specifications must be conformed to as stated. Your cooperation will help maintain a consistent and recognizable image.
• Please contact the WECA Marketing Department if you have questions concerning proper WECA logo usage or need assistance with graphic reproduction.

• The WECA logo should not be treated improperly or frivolously.
• The WECA logo may not be adopted, used or registered anywhere in the world in a form that is confusingly similar.
• WECA reserves the right to approve or disapprove the use of this Policy and withdraw any permission granted under this agreement. WECA reserves the right to approve or disapprove the use of the WECA logo at any time.
• WECA reserves the right, at any time and without cause, to modify or suspend this Policy and to take action against any misuse or unfair, misleading, diluting or infringing use of the WECA word marks or logo.
• The WECA logo may not be altered in proportion, color, element or type or be animated or otherwise distorted in appearance.
• The WECA logo may not be used in connection with any disparaging statements about WECA.

• The WECA logo may be produced using four-color processing, black and white or the Pantone Matching System (PMS), which is used widely by artists and printers. The Pantone colors for the logo are Blue (PMS 280), Orange (PMS 145) and black. The approved digital renderings of four-color and three-color versions of the logo must be used, and are available from WECA.

• Regarding Web site use, the WECA logo may be used as a link in digital graphic format as provided by WECA.
• The WECA logo may not be altered in proportion, color, element or type and may not be animated or otherwise distorted in appearance.
• The WECA logo may not be used on any Web site that is in violation of any applicable laws or governmental regulations. The WECA logo may not falsely imply any relationship with, endorsement by or sponsorship by WECA.
• The WECA logo cannot be used in connection with any disparaging statements about WECA or its products, or in statements that otherwise reflect poorly on WECA.

• The Western Electrical Contractors Association Political Action Committee (WECA-PAC) logo functions as a symbol of Association's political activities in the merit shop electrical contracting industry. Proper use of this logo creates a clear and consistent image to the public.
• The purpose of this Policy is to ensure that, whether produced by WECA-PAC or by other organizations, printed and digital materials bearing the WECA-PAC logo maintain a consistency in style and design. It includes specifications and design standards for materials that include the WECA-PAC logo.

Member Contractors are strongly encouraged to link their company web sites with the WECA web site. For help with this task, contact the WECA Marketing Department at (916) 453-0112, ext. 122.

Our members also have the opportunity to include their company logo and a link to their company website in WECA's online member directory. If you would like to grant WECA permission to include your company's logo and/or website link in our online directory, you must complete and return an Online Listing Information Release Form. If we do not receive a completed release form, your company logo and website will not be included in your company's online member directory listing.
